Sermon Sketchnotes – 1 Corinthians 12

I have recently discovered sketchnoting-a creative way to take notes which helps to keep my ADD brain focused.  The folks at Sketchnote Army provide this brief definition:

It is purposeful doodling while listening to something interesting. Sketchnotes don’t require high drawing skills, but do require a skill to synthesize and summarize.

I’ve been using the technique while listening to sermons.  I’m enjoying the process so much that I expect this will be a regular feature on the blog.

Our pastor has been teaching through the book of 1 Corinthians this year and this sermon focused on the Gifts for the Body described in 1 Corinthians 12.  My main takeaway from this sermon was the reminder that our gifts are to be used for the good of the church body.

God loves to give good gifts to his children to bless and to encourage and to serve one another.
