Crafts – Book of Daniel Part 1

I’ve added one more ‘craft mom’ activity to my week.  Our church sponsors a Good News Club gathering at a local apartment complex each week.  One of the volunteers asked if I would create a craft for the kids each week.  The craft has to be simple and easy for the kids to create on their own.  So I do most of the preparation in advance.

The current set of lessons are from the book of Daniel.

Daniel and his friends choose healthy foods.  Paper punch art salad using a scallop circle punch, circle punches, and oval punches.

Daniel seeks wisdom to interpret the king’s dream.  Craft project to cut-and-paste the statue from the king’s dream.  I found the artwork at www.MightyMag.org and adapted it to create the craft.  The printable for this craft is available here.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego survive the fiery furnace.  I created the furnace template and added the Bible characters from a coloring page from www.ChristianBibleApps.com.  The printable for this craft is available here.

  1. Thank you for sharing your lessons. Your lessons have helped me so much when I needed an activity for the children in my class.
